Why Yes they are.  CTT might be doing an articular on Lee McCarty's layout which is really outstanding. Pics of his layout are on the CVSGA web page.

Bob has been a very fair board moderator, but some of us S gaugers are a little thin skinned. I am in complete agreement  with Bob that there really wasn't anything more to say.

Having said that, having a thread about S gauge locked by a moderator calling himself the "O Gauge Overlord" doesn't have "good optics" as the political types are prone to say.

Now now, as an old Air Force missle man the O Gauge Overlord has a good grasp of when to use the "Nuclear Option" and when not to.  I trust his judgement.

Me?  I'm just an old Marine.  All I know how to do is fix a bayonet and charge!   Low tech, but it DOES get the point across, no pun intended.

Thanks for writing and sharing your question about S gauge layouts in "Classic Toy Trains." I am constantly striving to find and showcase the best S gauge and O gauge layouts out there. There are only a couple of layout articles on deck--meaning, the manuscript and photos are ready to be published. We will publish them this year.

I am not trying to do a instant replay, but it begs the question of why not have let it die of natural causes like other long lived threads? It seems odd but it isnt the end of the world as we know it. Cest La Vie. Locking it gave the impression to me as well that it touched a raw nerve ending somehow, rightly or wrongly

Any chance of seeing an "S Gauge" layout in CCT soon? There hasn't been a S Gauge layout feature for several issues now. The 3 rail features are wonderful, and I understand that much of your subscriber base must be 3 rail, but I believe that there must be one or two S Gauge layouts worthy of a write up in CTT.
