It could be an MPC Lionel, they used the 2037 boiler style for a lot of set engines and the wire could be for the old static Sound of Steam.

Picked up a modern 2037 loco on ebay. This is a modern style loco with all the inherent modern electronic stuff inside. Has a plug in in the back for the tender. Now the questions. What make is this and what years produced and what tender would be compatable. Was told it was K-line,but can find no identifiers on it.Thanks in advance.
