Hello,

I have a 4-8-4 Rock Island 18001 and it's the same for the smoke output ; the smoke is quiet. Perhaps also because this loco has three exhausts : the chimney and each side cylinders.

Specifically for this locomotive, I use the liquid Mega-Steam and it's better than other (for me) but it isn't a 671 postwar that is my better smoker.

Regards

LIONEL 18003 NORTHERN SMOKE QUESTION

I have a 18003 4-8-4 Lackawanna Northern that runs just fine.  The smoke output has always been anemic.  Is there a fix for this?
