OK-John. Let me extend an invitation to you to join us at YORK in the future.  We usually meet at the CTT booth, Friday at 1pm.

Hope it's SOONER than later...Laugh

John, this has been a great venue for meeting new friends.  I have lost a lot of my life long buddies who have passed on now but fortunately, I have met some great new ones here.  Most of my best friends over the years were guys I met associated with trains, real, toy or scale model including live steamers.  Welcome to the group and keep posting.

Ray

John......Welcome to the Forum.

I have made many good friends, since I joined this Forum. You have the right feelings, which you stated above. You can always find the right train, but good friends are priceless.

I went to the convention in st louis for the first time with some buddies our primary goal to expand our contacts in this hobby. The trip was a success! I cant say we met anyone that wasnt just great

My aproach to this hobby these days could be described this way.  if given a choice in finding that mint candian pacific passenger set at a steal of a price or getting to make another friend in the hobby  well you can allways find a decent example of a CP set at york next year.
