Thank you KoolJock1, I had seen that link a long time ago, but was wondering where it went to. I read somewhere that the footage for the actual wreck was done just once, that appears to be the case watching the reruns.

I pushed myself to get out some back issues of CTT I have. I came across the Dec. 1991 (?) issue with the feature from the Addams Family movie. The editor makes a note that the layout used in the TV series is "another story." Did CTT ever do a feature on the TV series layout?
