OK.  I'll try again.  Not sure what happened to the pictures, as they were showing on the 'reply' screen before I posted.

Progress on this year's Polar Express layout for the museum.  Benchwork is done, starting on scenery now.  It is a three time around type of layout to reduce the up grade.  Down grade is about twice the up grade.

Plaster rock molding going on in the foreground of the second picture.  I'm using cardboard drywall shims for the skeleton of the scenery.  Planning on finishing off with plaster cloth.

Kev,

I don't see why there would be any argument at all.  Just go ahead and do it.  Wink

It would look great on your layout.

Great photos folks.  Thanks for posting.

CTT has published photos of the O gauge accessories that the regional home improvement store chain Menards has offered in the last two years.  Most of the buildings are collaborations with Woodland Scenics.  In fact they are the O gauge offerings from WS with additional signage indicating a connection with Menards. The amount of extra add ons and details make the Menards offerings a pretty good deal. They have been on sale for the last two weeks, so I went and picked up some new buildings for the Blueboard Central Division of American Flyer Lines.

Main Street now has the 3 story Cobblery building from last year and the corner Billiard hall and Ice Cream parlor from this year.

I think the most recent issue of CTT has photos of the Woodland Scenics versions.

You'll have to change your flickr settings if you want to post it.

Well, that didn't work!

The reason it isn't working is the Flickr photo album is set to disable the ability to capture the url, which you would normally do by right clicking on the photo and selecting "copy image url." When right clicking, you get the message "Copyrighted Image - all Rights Reserved" meaning you can't "hot link" it.
