Thanks for the input . I have fired off an e-mail to MRC support to see how they want to handle this. I have already paid to ship it to them once and their 7.50 handling fee, so we'll see what the reply is and go from there. At any rate will keep yall posted.

I don't know if this will help , but was wondering if the handheld
could be the problem. I have had mine for about 4 years
but not seen this kind of problem. Just using it to power
the city right now. Good Luck!

MRC 027 Dual Trainpower with walkaround Problem..Help!!!
Posted by Anonymous on Saturday, March 20, 2004 1:52 PM
I am having a problem with this transformer. When I am operating a train on track one with the walkaround. It will jump power to track two and of course the train on track two will go at full speed and wreck (already broke 2 couplers). I sent it back to mrc with a description of what is going on and supposedly they fixed it and returned it. Well I hooked it up and the same thing happens. It does not occur all the time but just when you least expect it. The transformer is only 6 months old. Has anyone had a similar problem? I have tripled checked the wiring and the two tracks are totally separate from each other. Any help would sure be appreciated before I get out my 357 magnum.
