Clique? Like in Cliqueity Clack? Isn't that the sound a train makes going over rail joints? What's wrong with that?

The dissappointing thing is that Rich Melvin is charging to post on ALL the OGR forums.
If we're trying to get more people interested in the hobby, that ain't the way to do it, folks.
While they're at it, why not go back to 2-rail only? I think we've got the three rail thang covered here...

I looked around in several train forums. I saw that the O Gauge Railroad forum was going to charge just to ask questions and get advice. I'm pretty new to setting up trains and I know that I will have some questions. I know basic electricity and carpentry, but i still need some help with designing a layout and operating my trains. It seems that the other forums don't like toy trains as much as they like detailed scale models like is in a museum. Those are nice but I like my old trains. The people on that forum seem to be kind of nasty and stuck up especially to new members. I joined up here and I think I made a good choice.

They're not getting MY money. I am not renewing my subscription when it
runs out in a couple months. Too elitist for my tastes. Mutual admiration
society over there.

I was really worried when I read the name of this topic! I was expecting a real warning about eBay or some train related problem.

It will be very interesting to see how the infux of new members here effects this forum. After the newness wears off, this forum should benefit from the wealth of new ideas and opinions.

I think a Clique guy is someone who likes drinking Cliquot Ginger Ale....and it would appear that Atlas is planning on slaking that thirst very soon.[:)]

Here's a fair warning. I have contacted Neil and if you Clique guys get out of hand I expect him to do something about it unlike Melvin.

Well! I forgot I signed up for this site a while back. I plan forgot. I plan to check this out now that the OGR is going to charge. I used to below to a yahoo forum for lionel and MTH but that appears to have been taken over with prono listing of all things! Nothing is safe anymore!

I'm in mourning but wondering whether this will be the place where everyone lands.

This forum may get abit crowded in the next few months.

Over at the OGR forum they have decided to charge a fee to post.

While I am not entirely new here (been here off and on the past year)
I did reregister to change my sign in name from eZAK61 to just eZAK.

And Yes, this forum will take some getting used to.
So If this subject has been covered, Excuse Me.[;)]
