Has anyone tried Chameleon Plastic Paint Stripper?

I used this on my tender last night to remove the factory lettering, which worked well enough, but now I've got some white residue on the tender.  Does anyone have any experience with these types of products, and is the residue normal?  Is there any way to remove it, or do I simply need to paint over it?

I looked on the site and it said this:

When your item is stripped to your satisfaction, rinse the object under warm tap water to remove all residue and paint fragments.

If you don't rinse it off, the new paint won't look good, no matter what you use to strip the old paint.

Ok, update, I applied some more of the thinner to re-activate the residue and then I submerged the whole tender shell in hot water and scrubbed the tender down with a tooth brush.  I think the white residue is not residue at all but a dull coat that is applied to the tender.  I'm gonna try to apply a coat of flat black tomorrow and if that doesn't look good then I'm gonna strip the whole tender down and start over.

B-E-A-utiful!!  Last night I applied 2 coats of flat black testor's spray paint, and the tender looks brand spanking new!  I'm sold on this product.

Now, does anyone have any ideas on how to best align Woodland Scenics' rub on transfered letters?
