MTH Repairs~ Report as promised Blue Comet tin plate 263E

The first time the engine was sent out, it came back worse than before. This time, they did it right so far. I've only run it around the loop several times( pretty fair size loop, roughly 52 feet ) but it did just fine. Lot's of power, runs great in both directions and has good strong sounds. I'd have to give the folks at MTH an A + so far. Jake

Jake, Glad to hear they got it right.  Most of the guys I met on the MTH tour seemed to take a real interest in their work and try to do a good job.  Everyone makes a mistake now and then.

I agree, we can all make a goober now and then. I'd hate to be held accountable for every little thing I did wrong. And...honestly...they are a lot of fun, kinda expensive, but they are only toy trains. If there were real trains it still would not be worth getting too wound up over. Jake
