Yes, I have experienced that too.
I typically use Firefox.

Chief, when I make a post from my computer at work it does the same thing. My computer here at home does OK.

No, it is not just yours. I have Windows XP with Internet Explorer and I have to click out and back into the Internet to see my post as the last post.
Often have the same problem. Sometimes, I will attempt to post, it seems to take forever, when I click on "Post" again, it will come up with the control message about posting too frequently, and time needed between posts. Gets frustrating.

I have been experiencing no problems at all, lately !! I'm still in the dark ages though with Windows ME. Last night stuff was taking a while to load though.
Thanks, John
OH , NO !!!
Maybe I'm tied in with the Southern System.

Yep !! That's exactly what is happening & they clogged up your lines with grits !!
No problems here in G'burg except that I cannot get the editing bars to show up in the message window unless I use Firefox (Safari and IE never have worked with the new software). I am running a Mac with OS version 10.4.

I sometimes find the need to click a second time on a link to get it to open, but I think that's either because I don't click hard enough the first time or because the cursor is moving when I click. It happens on a lot of sites, not just this one with me.

I thought that I needed a new hard-drive for the computer but went to another website and it worked fine. My complaint is the Sunday Photo Fun download time as it can take up to five minutes to download the entire page, some of it comes through but I have to wait a few minutes for all items to show up.
I checked with the local computer store and the guy said I have more than enough R.A.M.

Yep, that exactly how I was able to read your post. Sometimes in the middle of a postor reply the screen re-sets itself to a blank reply page or back to the original post.

Ever since the last forum upgrade (?) I haven't been able to post using my Juno web browser. Have to switch over to Internet Explorer to post anything. Otherwise, it's been okay.

Just did it again. Would not open this thread and had only 2 little green bars and holding. Clicked again and open right up.
Later, went to post the above, did the same, clicked again and it posted immediately.
Chief,
Just remember how all this software and technology is making our lives easier and stress free. I’d email you a lengthy explanation as to how our lives are easier, but I’ve blue screened. Now, if I could just remember where I put that paper and pencil.
Seriously thou, some of the issues raised here seem to be a dial-up issue. To find a problem, a common denominator needs to be found. Let’s assume the boys at CTT did their homework and built a bug free software for all platforms. Let’s also assume their server is running smooth, no derailments. So are those with problems on dial-up, high speed etc.

Here's the really strange thing....BEFORE the last upgrade everything was workig fine and there were no threads that I can remember about forum problems. Now there are constant threads popping up complaining about glitches and bugs. This was an upgrade?????
Deputy,
That's my point. As these software writers try to reinvent their sites, adding more bells and whistles, it tends to choke those of us on dial-up. I use Firefox on highspeed at my daughters, no problems ever with this site. Using the same browser on dial-up at home, it stalls, hic-ups etc.
Folks who write html need to remember, there are a lot of us out here stuck on dial-up, and could be for a few years to come. That's my .
But as mentioned, it's free, so no complaints.
