I buy most of my parts from Doug Peck at Port Lines Hobby.  He is on the web.  Good prices, good to deal with.

Any one else deal with American Flyer parts?

Doug Peck at Port Line Hobbies did not have the parts I wanted!

Try RFGCO.  They have lots of items and I've used them as well.  What are you looking for if I may ask?

I also like RFG.  Their parts are of the same quality as the Gilbert originals.  Try their smoke fluid, it is the original gilbert formula and it smells like the old fluid in the red capsules.

I am looking for replacement power pick-up wheels(one wheel is plastic and one wheel is metal with meatl axles) and truck assembly for either a 295 loco tender or for the 630 Reading caboose.  Have the light bulb sockets but need other pieces to connect the power from the track, I have wire that I can use.

Need contact address for RFGCO please.

RFGCO.com will take you to their sight.

The wheels/axles assembles are available.  RFGCO part# 125 125A 125B or 126 depending if early or late model, steel or copper pickups.  Portlines has the wheels also 2124,2125 2149 & 2150.  The truck assemblies are probably sheetmetal trucks, and RFGO has them.  I did not see the sintered metal trucks, but I may of missed them.

What I do is I will buy junk cars, (broken beat up missing parts) cheap, and strip them of the parts I need.  I have several boxes that I refer to as my "junkyard".

Long live American Flyer!!!Yeah!! [yeah]

Not that many A.F. junk cars for sale down here in south Florida.  I went to RFGCO.com and ordered the parts that I want.  The wheels that I want are part # 124.

At train shows down here parts command a rather high price, A.F. parts are almost non existant at train shows down here, Lionel post war or pre war parts are extremely pricey down.
