Wanted - CTT commem Reefer packaging
Posted by Dave45681 on Sunday, April 22, 2007 7:43 AM

Hi. Sorry if this infringes on the no advertising rule, but being the nature of this request, I hope it may be fruitful on the "home turf" over here.

Looking for packaging for the Classic Toy Trains 20 years Atlas O commemorative reefer car. Mine suffered some (self inflicted) damage during packing activities.

If you are a "throw the boxes away" guy, I am interested in paying you for these items if you have them in good shape and we can save them from going to a land fill.

Looking for ideally the styrofoam, inner and outer box, but would consider whatever you may still have available.

Will pay all actual costs, plus some agreed upon fee for your time and the item itself.

If you can provide item, we can discuss what is a decent price for this. ;)

Thanks for looking, and thanks to the CTT staff/moderators if you allow this post to remain.

trainbrain,

Thanks for the thought, but my suspicion is no.

Being that these are fully made overseas, I am guessing no additional packaging ever makes it over here.  (neither CTT nor Atlas likely has anything to do with the packing of these)

CTT staff'ers are encouraged to prove me wrong! :)   I'll gladly pay a few bucks for an empty box and shipping if available from the source.
