Augggghhhhh!!!!!

I purchased a Santa Fe set last October and have wanted to see how it works with TMCC.  However, since Legacy was supposed to be out before Christmas, I decided it would be cost efficient to get Legacy right away and not spend the money on TMCC I.  Well, six months later I am still waiting...Banged Head [banghead]

And who's to say that the August date won't be pushed back?  I am not a happy camper at the moment.

Regards,

The features added to Legacy are primarily intended for Legacy equipped loco's which haven't shipped yet either.  The basic Command Base and CAB-1 Contorller which will run ALL tmcc equipped loco's (including the as yest unreleased Legacy units) cost about $110 mail order, aka about the price of the dockside switcher.

That was the other problem, TMCC I is also in short supply.  Lionel would have been better served to not announce a shipping date for the Legacy system.  I would have happily bought TMCC I last October and would have been pleasantly surprised if/when the new Legacy system was shipping.

John O,

I also put in an order for Legacy CC late last year for the same reasons as yours.  Thought it frugal to wait for it instead of spending good money on TMCC1 only to replace that in the near (ha ha) future.  Two weeks ago I happened across a  new TMCC1 remote and command base plus a TPC just listed on auction.  Throwing my old economical logic out the window I opted to buy it now and since the seller was local I had TMCC installed and running that evening.  I'm still waiting for my Legacy order and for the introduction of an engine with Legacy that I can't live without...but had I not caved to a moments online weakness I'd still be waiting on pins and needles.

Hello Bruce:

Very nice!  I might have to check ebay to see if I can get my hands on one.  I am anxious to see what my SF u-boat can do undo TMCC.

Regards,

John O
