Bob Keller
Thanks for the heads up. We live in a relatively rural area and my bride can usually get the Hallmark ornaments for me at the card store before they sell out like in most places. I will get her on it. Thanks again.

Thanks Bob.
By the way, Do you know what size they will be?
I wasn't too happy with the Veranda from last year. It is slightly smaller than the rest in the series. The reason for my concern is that I plan on making a display case and using 'N' scale track.
"It is slightly smaller than the rest in the series."
Oh, I'm sorry Pat but this is just too good. Normally this kind of comment is one I would be making, only saying that the item is too big for 027 layouts.
So wouldn't it be just such a hoot (maybe not) if we could carry over the usual toy train comments to the world of Hallmark Train Ornaments:
-The headlights are in the incorrect location.
-The rivet counts are wrong. (You'd need a magnifying glass to know that one)
Or other just funnier than the dickens kinds of threads like:
-My new ornament was DOA out of the box.
-Maybe the new Legacy-equiped ornaments will be demonstrated at YORK.
-I like the ornaments but am waiting for some MTH versions to be introduced.
-Folks may like the semi-scale ornaments, but it's scale all-the-way for me.
-The Williams ornaments may be reproductions, but they hang on the tree perfectly and never need service.
Or the real clincher would be the pending lawsuits over stolen ornament blueprints. Dang, I can see the headlines now: "Presiding Judge decides to hang himself rather than sit though months and months of more wrangling between train companies."
Might be a good time to ask the photographers to leave the courtroom lobby, pass out the breath mints and get out the mistletoe.
Or maybe a giant therapy session at YORK in the new Mistletoe Hall, full of greying older men, all sobbing and hugging: "I'm sorry I said your trains were total garbage." "Yeah, and I'm sorry I said you are a bag of hot air."

Magnatraction of course!
*#@!! Hallmark doesn't offer replacement parts. Maybe the online auction sites?
Sorry, Couldn't resist.

You think that is hard to determine. I still can't get the TMCC to work. I am going to take it apart to see if a wire is loose.

While the size comment is funny, I wonder how that will affect this year's miniature offering?
Previously, the mini ornament set has been the full size ornament from last year. (since the J, if I recall correctly - no minis exist for the Original Hudson, SF F3 or GG1)
I wonder how the mini-Veranda will look? Guess I will find out in July! :D

That would be a neat idea as well. Since they already did the Polar Express in Mini, this would fit in well also. Maybe Freight one year and the passenger cars the next would be cool.
