Sorry Marty, I read over that list twice and still missed it. Senior moment I guess.
Well York week is finally here. Working Monday, Tuesday and half-day on Wednesday and then will head for the hotel in Hanover. Wonder if I will be able to concentrate on work Wednesday morning. Will be at the meet on Thursday and Friday. May stop at Johnstown on the way back to visit the flood memorial and museum on Saturday.
We plan to be at the CTT booth on Friday at 1:00PM for the meet and greet and the photo op. Then grab some lunch and head to the grandstand to listen to the speakers. If time is tight, just take lunch to the grandstand and eat there. Looking forward to it.
Remember anyone out there if you want to meet and greet Friday 1 PM at the CTT booth in orange hall.
Well checked the oil in the wifes car, tire pressure and fuel later. My money will be drawn shortly. Will head out tomorrow at 7am right to the fairgrounds. Spend the day and off to the OGR gathering at Fridays. I too will spend the night in Hanover and then head back to the ground Friday. I'll see veryone at the CTT booth and probably head home shortly there after. Gotta leave for work on Saturday AM.
Unfortunately I read today where a large shipment of Grits was stolen from the docks at 3 mile Island. Seems they use the stuff to clean up waste spills. I don't know if that means anything but I hear that portable Grit detectors are being setup at the fairgrounds just in case.

88 - Remember:
1) Someone the next aisle over has it cheaper...
2) Park somewhat close to the new hall...
3) Mike Wolfe is much shorter in person...
4) Be sure to glance under the tables for deals (especially those light-weight cars you want)
5) Unless you use duct-tape for a money-clip, better have enough gas to get back home...
6) The arrows...
1) Someone the next aisle over has it cheaper...Since I've never been to York, I'm a bit concerned that my typical train show routine of 'once around to find what you want, second or third time around buy' won't work... not sure if I will have enough time for that! I'm planning on going through the members hall first (I think its the Purple Hall?)
2) Park somewhat close to the new hall...That is why I offered to drive - you can show me the ropes!
3) Mike Wolfe is much shorter in person...I saw his pic on another thread... I'd venture 5' 6" - 5' 8"
4) Be sure to glance under the tables for deals (especially those light-weight cars you want)Right-O!
5) Unless you use duct-tape for a money-clip, better have enough gas to get back home...That's what the plastic is for! LOL! No seriously, I'm gassin' up tonight on the way home.
6) The arrows...Yeah, Yeah... so you've told me 100 times! But you won't tell me what they are for or represent! Something about being a 'Noob' and you can't let the sacred secret out... I'm beginning to think there is some dire event at the end of the road... like an EXIT sign!
Nervously awaiting the pictures. Explain later.
