I don't know if this will help you, but when I wanted to join I asked around at my LHS.  The owner already knew me, and he and his partner were members and were willing to sponsor me.

Good luck,

Joel

You have 2 in your town in West "by god" Virginia.  Lookup John R. Regan or Francis Turner.

Thank You Alex, I'll take you up on your offer. My wife and I would both like to join. How do we do this? Thanks much, Jake

Sign - Ditto [#ditto]  I am a member too, if you need another signature I'll sign for you.  My wife also goes to YORK with me and she gets in free, kinda make a day of it and she gets me my Christmas presents there.
