With the new lionel and k-line catologs coming out a while ago what do you guy like and want to get, for me it would be the C&O George Pacific.

LIONEL! UPS steam set, and centenial boxcar!

I really think the boxcars with the smoke that wafts out the open door are neat.

would also like the TMCC Chessie GP30!

O-31 track and 5 switches (remotes would be nice, but I'll settle for manuals), sorry, I'm a Noo-B, my aspirations are a bit lower.

But if we are wishing, then I go with the Polar Express Hot Chocolate car and the Diner Car, I don't like the baggage car, because none of the kids in the movie had luggage.

I like a lot of the new stuff! The K-line mike and the prospector set come to mind, along with the Lionel 0-8-0 conventional steam engine, and the Lionel traditional mike with TMCC. I will probably pre-order the scale Santa Fe A-B F-3's, and the Santa Fe "Moe and Joe lumber car. I have never pre-ordered before, but I really would like these two items! Will have to see how it works out!

I'll have to get Mavis from the Thomas collection for my son and I think I want the new Halloween train set and Hand car as well as the New York Central S-2 Electric.

I would also like to have the LionMaster Southern Pacific AC-12 Cab Forward, but I'll have to wait and see how the christmas bonus is for that!

I just ordered the TMCC PRR Mikado from Trainz.com for $314., free shipping. I saw it at a dealer ( for $350.+ $21. PA sales tax) and it's very nice looking for a semi-scale. Joe

Well, after looking through Lionel's online catalog I have decided that I want some of these;

They are going to be the cars that I customize with the names of the churches that I serve throughout my vocational career.  However I didn't see any that don't have the domed roof, that weren't baggage cars; do they make those?

go to http://www.williamstrains.com

they have repros of similair lionel sized passenger cars and I belive one comes with two roofs so you can either make it a dome car or a regular car.

I would like to see a catalog that will offer a number of different rolling stock cars for a featured line. Example: NYC box, flat, hoppers etc.  This way, if you wanted to concentrate on adding cars to your collection, you wouldn't have to search different venues. (Of course, it will take the fun out of "the chase" but it would make it easier!) Aside from that, I would like to be able to gather a few of the same  cars but with different identifying car numbers. Thanks for asking.
