Wow.  That is the first I time I have heard about the Turbo train.  It is one of the oddest looking locomotives I have ever seen.  Has an O gauge manufacturer ever built one of these?

John O

I am not aware of an O scale turbo train. But this would be a great model if they made one, I realy like the quality of the sound samples station annouvement in French and English for cannadian models.

MTH and LIonel are you keeping up with the times and HO releases???? Where is an O gauge Turbotrain???

MTH recently produced an Aerotrain, why not a turbo train?  The two have quite a few similarities.

From my viewpoint, the answer to this question is "No they are not keeping up, but maybe with the new kid, ATLAS O GAUGE in town, a new day may be dawning. Time will tell."

I suspect that ATLAS has learned to use the computer aided drafting programs to develop the basic exterior details for N, HO and O in tandem to a point of commonality.

I guess it would make sence to do all the tooling for the 3 scales at one time with the same cad drawingBig Smile [:D]

I wish it was in N scale. When I was a boy, the conductor actually took me up to the cab of the train and I got to sit on his lap. Boy, how times have changed. That had to be in the mid-1980s. I have seen them near me in Albany where the prototypes are being restored. Hopefully, they will ride again.

what do you expect from a canadian company...only the best....their passenger cars are also raising the bar very high in HO.

Agree with you a model in O scale with RS 5.0 and Legacy will be amazing...as for MTH they will find a way to put a tether between each car and Mike don't speak french
