KCC was K-line collectors club who lionel took over mid way through the production. Well kcc is no more at this point in timeSigh [sigh]

Mine came today as did some others as well, I would call to see if they have verified your shipping address and kcc number.

Mine came today, CSX TMCC. Very nice detail. Not to keen with the horn though, sounds like the horn from a F unit. Really creeps set at 128 speed steps. I did have to pull it apart though to put a screw back in that fell out when I took the engine out of the box. I'll post some pics on Sunday photo funSmile [:)]

Correction: K-Line Collector's Club had it as ALASKA RAILROAD, CSX, and Santa Fe.

If Lionel does a run of these SD70Ms and SD75Ms they it would be fun if they made a Chessie System SD70M B&O - C&0 - WM trio.

This loco has massive overhang when going around the curves(MTH O-31??) My layout will have O-72 loop so this will not be much of a problem.

This loco has lots of detail such as lift rings(eyebolts), warning singns, chains.Cool [8D]

Thanks for the photos.  The loco looks great.  I haven't received mine yet.  After all this time, I'd rather have a refund.  I personally think it's disgraceful for a company to ask customers for money up front, then not deliver the product on time.  I ordered this in December 2004.  I'll chalk this one up to experience....I'll never do it again.

People were still reporting the arival today and even a Santa FE has shown up, When you call try not to get upset to bad with them as they had to ask for varifacation of shipping address and KCC number their recoreds may have been a mess durring the transistion from K-line to Lionel.

The Santa Fe SD75M was delivered by a UPS driver Thursday afternoon.

It the details are very good. The front has the most details.

It has oscillating ditch lights. The sound is very good.

I moved the throttle too far and ran it off the end of the track, then the circuit breaker popped on the PowerHouse.

I then noticed static interference sound in the speaker. I will have to run it more to see what that is about.

My Santa  Fe arrived Tuesday.  Set up on a test stand and had to touch the drive wheels to see if it was running.  Runs very quite.  One question  -  the instruction manual said the direction control and smoke unit switches are 'on the bottom' (frame).  Where?  Looked all over, even under the trucks - no where to be seen.  Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks

At least it will negotiate 0-31...you can play with it!

Is this one similar to the Lionel version (Like Buckeye Riviter has)?  I have driven than one and it is very nice indeed.

Edit - His might not be ad SD70...

Smoke, direction, sound and cruise control switches are under a plastic panel on the top of the engine (where the smoke output and plastic horn are located).  Be careful when removing it because the smoke unit is attached to the top panel and the connecting wires could break if you pulled too hard.

Steve,  If you don't want yours, I will buy it from you.  What road number did you get?
