Lionel crossing gate
Posted by Anonymous on Friday, January 5, 2007 8:54 PM

I've attached a picture of a Lionel crossing gate I picked up at a garage sale...The gate works fine except it did not have any bulbs, they are the plug in type, does anyone have a web site I can access to purchase these blubs? Thanks for your help.....tom.

You're looking for a type 19 (14V, 2-pin. 7/16" globe) bulb colored red.

Olsen's (http://pictures.olsenstoy.com/library.htm ) lists it as a 19R.

Stan Orr Train Parts ( http://www.stanorrtrainparts.com/ ) lists it as a 19-301.

Lionel lists it as a 600-0019-301, but doesn't offer them online (just the green and frosted versions).

Shipping costs can exceed the parts costs.  If you're lucky enough to have a local Lionel dealer, these lamps should be available there.

When you do get the lamps, you'll find that they do not flash - they remain on as long as the gate is down.
