Where can I find 2" to 2½" round, analog A/C volt and amp meters? I want to build a full functioning Lionel 439 replica. My guess is that the voltage should be 0- 20 and the amperage 0 to 10. Thanks.
I had to resort to searching the web (struck out at Radio Shack etc.), and that was for the basic rectangular volt and amp gauges. Sorry I don't have the names of the vendors, as it has been some time ago, but try your favorite search engine. I was surprised that in some cases the cost of a meter alone was more for than buying a K-line voltmeter car!
Good Luck,
Stack
I've bought several AC ammeters from Loys Toys. Under $20. Nice people. Here is a pic of what the meters look like. Sorry it's not a closeup.
