New York Botanical Gardens Train Show
Posted by chuck on Thursday, December 28, 2006 4:19 PM
This was a very cool "show".  Trains are secondary to the buildings and the buildings play second fiddle to the bridges!  Botanical Gardens are adjacent to the Bronx Zoo (sort of) and can be reached by Metro North.  Admission is $18 for adult/$16 Student-Senior/$5 child (2-12).  This is for full access to the garden grounds as well as the train show.  Kind of pricey but I felt it was worth it.  The exhibit at CitiCorp was free (and very nice) but this is huge.  We took over an hour to go around the exhibit twice to see everything.

Looks good.  The family and I will be going next week when Thomas the Tank Engine is scheduled to be there.
