Decals to change name on buildings
Posted by loisj4912 on Tuesday, December 26, 2006 12:20 PM

We would like to rename the buildings we have purchased using names of members of the family.  I am certain there is software that would accomplish this but not sure what to try.  Any suggestions for a method that is not too complicated?

Some of the guys on the forum have purchased decal paper and use their printers.  If it is white paper, you have to do a surrounding background in black or the color you want on the building.  Brick paper might work with the logo or name printed over it.

That is something I might try.  Also, Evan Designs indicates that they are upgrading and hope to have software to create the type of signs we would like by Spring.

You  can also just print out signs on regular paper using your printer and a program like Printshop. For instance I printed these for my Army loco. Simply rubber cement them to a building.
