Suggestions for selling awkward sized items
Posted by lionel2986 on Saturday, December 23, 2006 11:34 AM

I am looking to sell a new in box ZW and a very long steam engine (the daylight gs-2). They both have original boxs so if I sell them on ebay, where could I find shipping boxes in these unusual dimensions? Does anyone have packaging tips? Just looking to free up some money to finish building my layout.

I take it that you do not have a UPS Store or Kinkos near you.  They ship items like yours all the time for me.

They will charge extra for the boxing & packaging.  If you want to save a buck go to a hardware store like I did and ask for boxes that will fit your need.  I always found odd shapes there.  Flourescent light boxes and battery displays are good to have.

Only by the grace of God go I.
