CHRISTMAS LAYOUTS
Posted by baltimoretrainworks on Friday, December 22, 2006 10:37 PM

All right, here we are 2 days out from Christmas and is everyones trains up and running? Finally finished mine up about 2AM this morning. Only been working on it for 5 years, give or take several years for moving and having an addition put on but with a new grandsons first Christmas looming it was do or die time. Haven't built a proper one in about 15 years but it all came back while working on it and now all I have to say to my 3 brothers and 2 cousins who have been building them at thier homes while I got married and moved into a new house is ,"THE KING IS BACK!"

Anyway Merry Christmas and here are a few pics of my Christmas layout.

baltimoretrainworks:

Great lookin' layout.  Nice pix.  BTW, I'm a Baltimore native transplanted to centrol Ohio a few years ago.   I still root for the home team.

Merry Christmas.

baltimoretrainworks - Super job.  I too am an original Baltimorean - moved to Gettysburg.   I was born at South Baltimore General Hospital and grew up in Northern Anne Arundel County.  Go RAVENS!

BaltimoreTrainWorks

I drove through Baltimore once, and I also stayed at a Holiday Inn Express.

Nice work on your holiday layout.

Actually I'v lived in Shrewsbury Pa. for about 2 years now but like you guys I still am a diehard Ravens fan.

Quick question for you guys, is it just me or towards the end of a building session do you spend more time running trains or just staring at the layout then actually working on it?

Willie Parker has always been good at home, and now with Heinz Ward back, I'm gonna have to lean towards the Steelers as well. Oh, BTW, nice layout.
