My AT&SF Overtons arrived today which started me searching for period appropriate passengers. So far I have come up EMPTY. Any ideas or suggestions? Sad [:(]

Have you tried Walther's catalog?  Also a tip from putting seated figures in K-Line passenger cars, use S gauge or H.O. figures as O gauge will be too large to fit most of the time, used N gauge for figures in the top of the vista dome cars.

Doug, I put 50s figures in mine as it is supposed to be a 50s era excursion train on my layout.

I'm wondering how long it will take for someone to actually address your question. Maybe you should have said "late 1800's era".  My response is at OGR. Joe
