OK, I found it finally. It looks like a set of contacts right in the front  or back however you look at it. Same side as the terminals. The contact area looks a bit fried, or at least well worn. So this is the part I want to replace with the stuff from the Auto Store? Thanks for your help, Jake

Look at the Olsen's picture and trace the circuit to be sure you have the right thing.
