Is  $79.50 a good deal for an On30 railtruck?

I think thats a good deal. I recall them retailing at $120? Not positive.

Yes, that's a good price.  I paid half again that much for one for my wife's Christmas present last year.  Where do you find them for that price?

They are in the micromark catolog lately they have been adding On30 trains to their line of hobby  tool line you can get a 2-6-0 mogul for $69.95 abd a rail truck for $79.50

Bachman ran an ad for one on the inside back cover of the latest issue of the "other" O Gauge mag with a list price of $145 although I'm sure that some of the big dealers will have it for less -- probably not as low as $79.50, however.
