I live over on the east coast of Florida by West Palm Beach, about three hours each way from Ft. Myers by car, sorry no rail service to WPB.  One other note about Florida, the high speed(from Orlando to Miami) rail service idea fell thru!

  Ft. Myers has a dinner train that runs a few times a week and has a murder mistery played out by actors, cost around $55.00 a person, lasts about four hours, great food & service as I have been on this train twice.

There is a website semgulf.com but my browser won't take me to Seminal Gulf Coast Railway, try the yellowpages.com for a phone number, I will tyr the same mentioned website and see what I can find for you.

Any way I went to Yellow Pages.com and found the phone number & address of Seminole Golf Railway/passenger service, 239-275-8487.  Address is; 2805 Colonial Blvd,  Ft. Myers FL 33912.  There is a small sign posted out front and I do meen small!  Should be the only railroad tracks in town so if you pass by the tracks going east you need to turn around and go west again.

Like I said before the website(at least my computor) that Bob Nelson mentions won't take you to Seminole Gulf Railway!

Are you talking about Port Liquordale a.k.a. Northern Margaritaville as it is called down here because of the flow of alcohol?

When do you think that you may be coming to Ft. Lauderdale?

A nice place to see is either Ready to Roll hobby shop in north Miami or the Gold Coast Railroad musem in south Miami, ever here of the Ferdinan Megalin presidential passenger car?  It is down here in south Miami!
