Will this locomotive negotiate 027 curves and turn-outs?

Hello eaplionel!    Your Milwaukee Electric should be able to handle 0-27 Curves & Turnouts with no problem. Take Care.

It will make O27 curves fine but it will probably hit O27 switch machines like all long engines.

A quick look at Lionel's website shows similar EP-5's with a minimum requirement of O-31, so it looks like the answer is no.

Hello All!   The Milwakee will run on 0-27 curves & turnouts as this was the only type of track Lionel made in 1975. They came back out with O Gauge Track & Switches in 1980. Spankybird has an all O27 layout & he runs much longer Railking & Challenger's on his layout & for best results he uses K-Line O-27 low profile turnouts as well. Take Care.
