Dry transfer decals?
Posted by dennyblock on Tuesday, September 12, 2006 5:32 PM
Just finished painting my first fixer upper, a tin tank car and am ready for decals. Can dry transfers be left bear or must they be clear coated? Thanks, Denny

Burnish down and then you can clear coat to protect the decal.

Either is fine, but a coat of clear will protect them. I'd recommend it.

Thanks, Denny. Speaking of photos, please share some with us once your tank car is completed.
