Am I allowed to respond to my own post? Hmmm, I guess maybe if I realize it was me that posted, it would be OK. You must cut me a little slack here, I have 3 daughters in college at once!

I posted about this company because of their oustanding service attitude. I cooked one of the units by ill fated wiring on my part. The 2nd unit will not handle the bigger bulbs on some of the old Lionel stuff, but they are taking both units back to fix them both, no charge. This type of service is being lost in America, and when you find someone that really stands behind their product 110%, I just thought I should bring it to light on here. Good folks, web address is www.logicrailtech.com    Jake

Sounds like a great experience Jake!  Thanks for sharing.  I agree that it has been getting harder and harder to find good service in America today.  Everyone is looking for a low cost product, but you seem to also get a low cost customer service too....

A few weeks ago I went to Home Depot to get some lumber for a temporary holiday layout, and I spent about 20 minutes waiting for someone to come cut a sheet of plywood on the large saws they had.  The associate never showed up, and I ended up having to attempt to cut the sheet myself with a saw that was not up to the challenge.  I rarely find myself complaining about customer service, but when they asked me to take an online survey I really didn't hold back.

Perhaps we should have a thread on here where people can post about the great companies that go above and beyond for their customers.  That way we could help each other out with good, solid advice, all the while helping these great companies stay in business.

I agree, that would be an excellent idea! I think those companies should be recognized for their good service. Chuck at Logicrailtech was right on the ball with the whole thing, and that's even after I messed things up! I'll deal with them every time now for electronic stuff. Jake
