Here are 2 pics of the Ross switches hopefully you'll be able to see in the closer shot how it matches the gg track profile.
Are you sure those are Ross Switches in the photos? My GarGraves switches a lot like it, except for a couple of rivots. Any way Ross switches & GarGraves switches can be used on GarGraves track without any adapter pins. 027 track is the same height as GarGraves track & needs only adapter pins to work, O gauge needs adapter pins and to raise the GarGraves track a fraction of an inch to meet the height of O gauge track. Also CTT has published an article recently on Ross Custom Switches in the July 2006 mag. page 66. What I like about the Ross & GarGraves switches is the low profile to allow a large overhang of frieght cars without hitting the switch housing like on Lionel and other brands of track. While talking about switches stay away from Lionel 6-23011 series O gauge switches, I never had more problems with a switch than that one, it must have been an experimental switch that was marketed by Lionel, even the staff at Williams Electric Trains gives this switch a bad review.
