Ashland Ohio trainshow disappointment
Posted by Anonymous on Sunday, July 23, 2006 4:05 PM
Hey all,

Did anyone from Ohio go to the great ashland train show today that was cancelled.  I travelled a little over an hour to get there and everyone was standing around wondering where all the trains were. If they were going to cancel it they should have informed people somehow.  I heard they never paid their bill so the fairgrounds cancelled it.  Just wondering if anyone else was there.  Have a good sunday....

That's a shame, John. A lot of good people wasted their time.

By the way.....WELCOME to the Forum.

Sign - Welcome [#welcome] John

A train show at Ashland, Ohio in July is very odd and what is even odder  that none of us Buckeyes that hang around this forum ever mentioned this show.  Normally, we are all over Ohio shows like a wet blanket.

John, would you care to share with us where you heard about this show?  I know it was a big disappointment for you but I bet there were some kids that were extremely disappointed, too.

I also saw flyers on it, but felt it was too far of a drive for it.
