Chief - I just cancelled my subscribtion to CTT. I cannot get the Post Office from destroying each issue I have called the Post Office and even left a letter in the mail box to no avail...
Wish I could receive it in the mail but will just have to goto Barnes & Noble. Well, can always get the Starbucks coffee while there too!

jaabat wrote:Hey Dewey, My wife has the same outlook as yours does regarding clothes. I can't imagine how much money she's squandered on shoes, clothes, purses, etc since we've been married. I do know it's quite a large sum though. I honestly think women believe money is a never ending replenishable resource. I keep trying to save it and she keeps spending it. Some day, that rainy day is going to get here. The new CTT is out already?! I haven't received mine yet. Kinda early isn't it? If it comes today, I'll tell Marylin Monroe to take a hike! Jim
Jim, my wife is the Champ on buying pocketbooks [purses in New England], shoes, coats and other clothes. Even her girlfriends give her a hard time about it. She never says a word about my trains and the boxes left by UPS.
Dewey, mine is some N&W but NS, I'm hooked.

I have had the same trouble and missing issues also.
You guyz crack me up. I lost count of the number of items she got rid of because she hasnt worn them in the past 5 years. I say to her, "If you havent worn it in the past 5 years what makes you think your going to wear it anytime soon?" That was a bad idea because that just left room for new items that she isn't going to wear. But it's ok cause she is improving, now she at least rips the price tag off of them and pretends like she wore it before she gets rid of it to make room for new items.
Shes soo worried about what we are going to do when the kids grow up and move out. I said "we could do a garden railroad?" She says "no, Im not THAT into trains" shes thinking more like pottery. So I say how about we put the trains on one side of the basement and the pottery oven on the other? That way we will be doing stuff, "together"! She agreed! Besides I think she will get into it someday maybe hopefully.....

jaabat wrote:Chuck, How is it that a certain Southern rascal got his CTT before us upstanding Yankee OTTS members?! Jim
Jim,
I don't think he got it. Pam throws them away. CTT wouldn't send his out before us OTTS members.

Mine showed up today. Nice to know the Pony Express is on the ball in central Alabama!

THE SOUTHERN SERVES THE SOUTH.
Mine came today with the afternoon moonshine run... you never know what you find or have happen in these Tennessee mountains.

Jon, mine has always arrived in pristine condition, too. Another plus for living in the NORTH, the mail carriers don't stop at the outhouses along the route and use anything that is available to substitute for TP.
(Jon, I don't think the guys below the MD will even understand my comment, do you?)

OH yes, but the "in door plumbing" has been her for quite a few years. While I was in Ohizo last week, did notice a l;ot of folks stopping on the interstate and running behind the bushes. All had Nawthern plates.
