Rotary coal tipple cars

I bought the lionel rotary coal tipple and was wondering whether any cars besides the lionel bathtub gondolas would work with it, or if upgrade kits for cars were available.

Great question. I'm picking up Lionel cars as they show up on OGR buy and sale or when I hear about them. Would love to have more.

the atlas coalveyor has a rotary coupler and looks exactly like the lionel. it has it as a double (both sides) as well for long consists. priced around $50 and a lot of roadnames/numbers.
