Looking at yesterday's photos your layout is the closest I've ever seen to what my dream layout would be. Very nice!!!!!!!

Any info such as overall size or a diagram you wouldn't mind sharing would be greatly appreciated!

there are more pictures and you can see the overall track plan in a few of the
photos. The only thing not visible is the under table reverse loop that is
connected to the outer elevated loop; The visible outer elevated loop goes
down to the main table and is connected to it at the crossover by the log
loader, then goes down into the tunnel, under the table and reverses and
comes back up. There are two loops on the table one is just a big oval with
a passing siding and yard between it and the main and then another inner
loop. The inner loop has another reverse in it so there is only one way in
and one way out to save space, so a train must reverse on the inner loop to
go back out. I don't have a track plan that I can post, I just scratched
a few things out on paper and revised it as it was put together. If you
look at all the pictures you should be able to figure out the track plan.
Over all I am happy with it and I can run up to 5 trains at a time with DCS
on a small 8X14 layout.
Feel free to ask anymore questions I would be happy to help.

Thanks!! I love the sidings shown in the top photo! I don't see getting close to what you've accomplished but I'm sure gonna try to snag part of it!

I like everything about Houdy's layout. It's easily the best FasTrack layout I've ever seen. Lionel should put it in their advertising!

Thanks for all the kind words guys but really it's not that great, it needs alot of details added and I kind of ran out of detailing ambition becasue I spend too much time running the trains. It is all FasTrack except for the K-line track on the tressel section of the elevated loop. And I don't think Lionel will appreciate the trains and command system that I use!
