I notice my Lionel speed bridge no longer registers speed. Any ideas on this - I don't know if my son did something to it when Iwas in Iraq in 03 or not - as you can guess it has been a while since I got serious down there with them but dosen't keep me from shopping!

The sensor should display "Lionel Speed Sensor" when first powered up and before a train runs in front of the sensor. Check all the power connections if it does not. If the display does work, but is not registering train speed, check to see that nothing is blocking the two sensor eyes in the speed bridge. Wipe any accumulated dirt or dust off the sensor eyes. Hopefully, one of these ideas will jog your sensor back to life.
