AT last count there are over 25 members on this forum that live in Ohio. Which part of the State (City) is your engine in [?]

Tell them it's time to call the Atty. General of Ohio and the Better Business Bureau. Then if no response, DO IT!!

Hello Brian! We really need some more detailed information from you in order to help out here. Was the restoration paid for & is it the the same place that lost your 257E also? This is a very tricky situation here as you live in New Jersey & Those of us in Ohio are not sure what to do for you or even what we should do. Please let us know. Thank You. Take Care.

First, send him a certified letter outlining everything that has transpired up to this point. Inform him that you intend to notify the BBB and file a complaint with the attorney general unless he returns your loco immediately. If it's not finished, then you also want your deposit back. Set out a clear deadline after which you will follow through with your complaint.

If you sent the engine and money by uspostoffice file a claim with your postmaster and you will get action very fast. I have done that and it works.
