How to sell pre war Lionel instruction sheets
Posted by Blind Bruce on Monday, May 29, 2006 1:26 PM
Hi folks,
I just ran across several old Lionel instruction sheets and I would like to pass them on to a collector. Log loaders, coal loader, milk car etc. I thought of E bay but then I remembered this forum.
Any Ideas?

I must say that this is the only post that I have ever asked a question and received NO replies. Does anybody have a suggestion as to who may need these sheets? Shall I just throw them away?

probably because advertising or announcing items for sale on this forum is a No-No.

Frank53,
My intention was to ask advice, not to sell on this forum. I really just don't know what to do with them. If I were a collector, I would use these sheets to enhance the value of a boxed accessory that was sans instructions.
Sorry if I misled anyone.

doesn't matter to me BB, as I'm the most profilic thread killer of all time, and pretty much undisputed unanswered post champ as well. There could be a thousand reasons why you didn't get a response, but the no selling policy is probably likely.

From what I have seen on Ebay, I doubt you will get much of a return on these. I would suggest going to the OGR forum as they do have a buy/sell sight. Perhaps you can find someone in need of these. Rather than throw them away, if you don't want to do anything with them, the other idea would be to see if there is a local club that can use them.
