Chris,

Wife is social worker in Fairfax County, richest county in USA (& the world). Believe it or not, there are bunches of slummy areas there (she pulls abused kids from homes--enforcement). In one house, she recalls the crunching sound of roaches as she walked thru.

Your wife has quite a job there David....Ugh, the sound of those critters are gross enough let alone walking in a house that is littered with them. Its a shame that as rich as that county is, there are still plenty of less fortunate people that doesnt have a decent standard of living.

Im sure glad I dont have to deal with those critters up here.

Would people consider donating as much to charity as they do on thier hobby?

My guess is the answer is no. A $500 doller engine would balance against a whole months rent I would guess.

A bit late: I just emptied my camera.
Here is a picture of my Easter fun weekend.

Nothing beats a finished and restored train car......
