Is it possible for a williams steamer to be converted to ps-2? (dcs)
Anyone know, or have done it? I'm reasonably sure that williams diesels can be converted to either dcs and/or tmcc but I would love to hear feedback from anyone who has done it successfully. Or from anyone who has tried it unsuccessfully, what went wrong and why it went wrong? (if you know)

Are you sure that you want to convert to MTH DCS system? There is money and warranty issues to consider, is your Williams locomotive out of warranty yet?
Also from what I have read on the subject of DCS you do not need to convert to be able to use DCS.

I converted a williams GP9 to TMCC using a UCUB 1 board and 2 Coil Coupliers. I kept the true sound 2 board but was warned up front by TAstudios that I would lose the bell. I had to relocate the speaker to fuel this removing the lead weight. I didn,t have the nerve to put holes in the tank so speaker volume has been cut in have half because of this. I also choose not to install cruise control in this loco. Inside the loco there almost no available space left. I use this loco to run behind my steamers and for switching(Curse is not suitable for switching) for Railsounds you will have to modify or replace the tank. Good Luck
