Tons of Track
Posted by Fred Bear on Sunday, March 12, 2006 1:37 PM
An old fellow that I bought a Bear recurve collection from sold me a TON of 027 track, curved & straights. .05 per section. There is more than I can ever use, is there a forum for selling this stuff somewhere, and would anyone want it? Pretty decent shape, but needs cleaned. Jake

Put them for sale on eBay & describe them as RARE in bold and you will make a nifty return on your investment.

All kidding aside, this stuff sells on eBay for far more than what it is worth. Give it a try!

Small lots do better than really big lots do (because it costs a lot to ship 30 pounds of track, and most people have modest needs) so if you have the luxury of being able to list an oval or two a week, you'll get better prices. Describe it correctly, list it in the right category, and be up front with your shipping costs, and you should do OK. I would sell the switches in pairs, with a controller, when possible.
