You can learn easily.

On brick builds you can use water based craft paint to weather it with.

Dilute the paint down in a cup and brush own with a 1/2 inch brust untill it flows in between the bricks. Let it sit a bit then wioe off with a paper towle, you have instant mortor.

Use the same thing to make dirt or againg shingles.

There are a lot of cheap tricks to use

He needs to do some tressle work.

He has no one I take it to show him anything.

We all, most of us ,started out on our own and learned by our mistakes, at least I did.

I am sure he will be in good hands on the HO forum.

His questions are always welcome in any of my threads however. dDspite the gauge, they are all just toys after all.

watchdog7000: I think the work you did is great! Very realistic. The bushes are a real treat as well as the cars. [tup][tup]

Dang Monto.....12 years old and got quite some top-notch engines there, and I will be turning 29 at the end of this month and I ain't got jack what you have! Mann I really suck.

And what's worse, it seems that kids younger than me are doing alot better than I am. I think there's seriously something wrong with me.
