Hello all,

Just curious on how many posts I need to get my first star?

Feel like a Private amongst the Generals. LOL

I believe the following;
1 Star at 50
2 at 100
3 at 500
4 at 1000
5 at 2000, then you gotta pay dues and eat grits lol

I wouldn't worry about the stars. Later this year they will be changing the forum software, and when they do, there won't be any stars anymore.

Oh No!
I was hoping that only about 1 million more posts, I would catch up to Chief and Spankybird, etc.

I personally like the stars. Of course we're all friends here and don't discriminate on the basis of how many stars you have. However, it does feel good when you get one. I'm getting close to that fifth one and would like to see it become a reality.

Y'know, I keep forgetting to look at them. I don't think I'd notice if they went away. That said, now that Roy reminded me - it'll be fun to reach different milestones ...

Maybe they could switch to using Buckeyes or grits! We could have a choice.

You mean I've been slaving away since January of 2002, trying for more stars, and now they're going to take them away away from me? What a rip. They'll probably change the software an hour after I get my third star (which is not too far away). That's about the way my life usually goes. [|(]

In all seriousness, I really don't care about the stars. I just enjoy posting here. It's a fun place! [:)]

I got my work cut out to get a star. I usually just lurk in the background.
