Posted by Anonymous on Saturday, March 4, 2006 1:06 AM
Where is the battery located for this trolley.I removed the frame from the car and I can't see a battery or where one goes for this trolley.I might have been taken when I bought this. But it did come in a box that said equipped with protosounds. Any suggestions would be helpfull

Thats one I'm not to familiar with. I didnt even know they made those with sound. Are we talking about the trolley that bumps and reverses? I know the street cars came with sound, those little trolleys I dont tink had sound. I'll take aa look at a catalog and check it out.

Did someone mention trolleys? No, this isn't one of the bump'n go trolleys like the Lionel #60 - this is a two truck Brill - Danny, are you looking for the battery because the protosounds aren't working? Did you see the directions that came with the car on how to activate them?

So Doug,
Were your ears burning? I dug this topic up from page 2. Hey did you see what my son and I did today?

Hey, Paul, that' s great! Not that I'm the world's trolley expert - but I can't believe i missed this one. Go to the High Wheeler show tomorrow if you can - plenty of G scale there. See the Brill trolley here: http://www.mth-railking.com/detail.asp?item=30-2512-1

Ah, now I remember that trolley. I dont think I ever saw one in person at any hobby shop. I remember seeing it in the catalog though. I'm going to try to get out early to the show tomorrow. Tends to get pretty crowded around lunchtime and the kids start gettin kranky too. My kids really neaded to get out today. We played trains and baseball. I've got two baseball fanatics. When the weather starts getting a little nicer its, "Dad, you want to play catch? Will you take us to the park and hit us some balls?" I'm not complaining, but sometimes my body does. I'll have to talk with you about the show tomorrow. I really enjoy this one.

I took both boys out too to play basketball and despite the sun, it was cold! Didn't last long. Just finished cruising the neighborhood to pick up the daughter who went out to walk around in the dark and cold with her brood of friends without her cell phone - a big no-no if I don't know where she's going. Now they're all sheepishly watching SNL. Look forward to hearing about your visit to the show.
