I have several kits I have been putting back for just such a weekend, cold and snowy as it is now.

I have several coaling stations to kit bash into a mine tipple but I yet need some sections of plastic to use as roofs, bulkheads, what ever.

So, I decided to work on a Plasticville water tank this evening.

Looking for pics on google I foung a great many wonderfull train sites.

One had this pic that shows the weathering or the "watering" process that I want to recreate. I also want some mold on the tower supports and base. I am sure that will not be difficult. Here in W Va moss and algie would grow quicly in warm weather with shade and leakage from the tank. I engoy working with that type detail.

In thought I would share the pic of the prototype.

It is a great one.

Looks like it's been a loooooooong time since there was a train anywhere near that water tank. That's quite a pic.

Clint
