New Lionel Lionmaster Locomotive
Posted by Anonymous on Saturday, January 28, 2006 10:25 AM
I just got the new Lionel catalog. The Lionmaster SP Cab Forward really caught
my eye.i have operated lionmaster locomotives and Iam really imperssed with
them. the last loco i bought was the MTH railking VGN tri-plex. went to Dry Bridge station yesterday and seen the MTH premire P&WV 2-8-2 light mike.
that to is a really nice piece. it is priced in the 700.00 range that is not bad for a
scale locomotive. weather is really nice today need to get outside and do something instead of running trains.

I have to agree, that cab forward looks really cool. I have one Lionmaster and love it.

Does Lionmaster mean it is semi scale (1:52) instead of scale (1:48)?

not sure what it scales to, but they try to maintain dimensions. it will handle O31 curves, so you know it is not as long :) i have both the lionmaster challenger and big boy. i like them both and they don't look out of place pulling scale cars (and that big boy can really pull).
