Smoke unit in porter stoped working?

I got a porter steam lcomotive by k-line and the smoke unit fan died and wont work.The smoke fluid im useing is JTmega-steam.I have had it apart today and couldnt fing the problem with the fan.Sugjestions.

Check if the fan is pushed too far down on the motor shaft and is hitting the casting, prefenting it from turning.

Remove the fan from the motor and see if the motor is running.

Check for loose wires or connectors.

Check if you put too much fluid in the unit.
